Five Beautiful Blessings Between Heaven & Earth

So I had a moment of panic.  I really need to find Bridgett a preschool.   Why panic you say?  Well when Aaron was old enough for preschool I learned that a lady in our ward (it was right after we bought our house)  taught preschool one street over and I managed to get him signed up in her last spot.  It was great,  and he loved it!   But since then Miss Sheri has moved to a charter school to teach preschool and it's not only 4 days a week and not the very close, but it's also fills up fast and has probably been full for months now!    So I was left with what do I do?  I had no idea where even to start but I knew I needed to get it done soon because a lot of preschool fill up very fast!  I know that Bridgett will love being in preschool so I could not just sign her up,  it would be easier but she needs to go.  Fortunately my good friend Tiffany who is amazing at researching things, from politics to well just about any...

Tonight I was in the kitchen making dinner for the kids.  Aaron and Bridgett were sitting at the bar talking. Aaron was talking about how excited he was to have two little boy babies on the way.  There was a long pause.  I found myself listening to what Bridgett had to say to this.  (earlier that day she had cried and told me there was supposed to be one boy and one girl!  not two boys!)  After a brief pause I heard Bridgett say...  "Aaron?  Will you share one of your boy babies with me please?"   Awwwwwwwww  poor sweet Bridgett!  They have been saying since they found out there were two babies in my tummy that one was for Aaron and one was for Bridgett.  I think that Bridgett thought that since they were both boys,  they were both for Aaron and none for her.  I quickly assured her that even though both the babies were boys.  There would still be one baby for Aaron to help with and one baby for Bridgett to help...

Had an ob appointment today,  everything looks good.  Went next door to the Hospital for a U/S,  Those hospital machines are pretty amazing!  We know for sure now that both the babies are boys.  Already during the hour u/s I know a little bit of their personalities and I'm pretty sure we are in trouble!!!!  One is a bit more mellow and more private,  he was the one that it took a while to figure out for sure he was a boy.  He moves around but not overly tons.  The OTHER on my goodness!  He flipped around about 4 times during the u/s and gave the tech a run for her money!  At one point she was measuring his brain and the top of his head and as quick as you please he placed his bum cheeks and little boy parts right where her scope was.  He totally mooned us!  LoL  She had a good laugh about that one.  He the child that every time he feel feels pressure on my tummy he just starts banging back against it.  It's ...

The children have been having a great time enjoying their Christmas vacation and plying with all their new toys.  Aaron got a remote control helicopter ,  It's not in the photo but he has had a great time playing with it all over the house.    Bridgett loves that she now has pink lego's to match all of Aaron's blue boy legos! And even Daddy is very happy with how his collection of leather bound books has grown with all his Christmas present additions!  

I had a lot of fun this year working on quilts for the grandma's and mom's for Christmas presets.  I actually started in Jan of this year.  I needed something to do.  Something to keep my busy so I decided to work more on getting better at quilting.  (one day I will actually keep a quilt that I make)  So I started Christmas presents right after Christmas was over.  Crazy maybe but it was actually lots of fun.  Most of the fabric I actually ordered off the internet which is more challenging than you would think!  But all in all I did pretty good getting colors to match and go together.  Through out the year I worked on them,  I actually don't have a picture of the one I made for Mom C.  which is sad cuz it turned out really cute,  it was dark brown with teel.  But here are photos of the rest of them. Today Uncle called and wondered if there was anyone here who wanted to go and see his horse.  So Daddy and Aaron and Bridgett went with Uncle and had a great adventure!  Daddy took lots of photos for me to see, and judging by how dirt both the kids were by the time they came home I know they had a wonderful time! They helped Uncle rub and brush his horse down.  Bridgett was thrilled to be so close to a horse!  She loves horses! They helped push the wheel barrow. They helped uncle fill up the wheelbarrow. and conquered the sawdust pile. Help uncle muck out the stall... and I think the highlight of the day would be... Thank you Uncle for a great and wonderful afternoon of hard work and horses!  

It's Christmas day!  We had to set our alarms a little bit earlier than normal this morning since we have 9 am church to add to the morning festivities.   I felt so bad because we had to wake poor Bridgett up and after we kept her up so late last night it was sad!  Poor thing was exhausted! She was a little happier after we got some milk into her but she really was kind of out of it all morning! I didn't do very good at getting photos this year,  I guess I'd better work on that next year,  I was just enjoying watching everyone having such a good time that I forgot to take photos.   I think everyone had a great time!  Grandma Teetah, Grandpa Ken and Uncle Kyle came to open presents with us.   After that we all got ready for Church,  we joined Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Roy and Nannie and Papa in Grandpa Roy's ward since he's Bishop and needed to be there.  Bridgett sat on Mom's lap almost the whole sacrament meeting with a glazed over...
