Christmas Projects for this year.

I had a lot of fun this year working on quilts for the grandma's and mom's for Christmas presets.  I actually started in Jan of this year.  I needed something to do.  Something to keep my busy so I decided to work more on getting better at quilting.  (one day I will actually keep a quilt that I make)  So I started Christmas presents right after Christmas was over.  Crazy maybe but it was actually lots of fun.  Most of the fabric I actually ordered off the internet which is more challenging than you would think!  But all in all I did pretty good getting colors to match and go together.  Through out the year I worked on them,  I actually don't have a picture of the one I made for Mom C.  which is sad cuz it turned out really cute,  it was dark brown with teel.  But here are photos of the rest of them.


This one was for Grandma Smith,  She loves browns and greens.  


This one was for Grandma Wendel,  after I got done I kind of wanted to keep it!  You know how much I love green!


This one was for Mom,  Her room is green, tan with a little purple,  


And this one was for Nannie,  I saw the fabrics in the store and it just spoke of  Nannie to me so I went with it.  


And this one was for Grandma Chadwick.  This one was probably the hardest just because I was working with 2 inch squares and I don't really have the best sewing machine for working with tiny pieces, but we got it done!    I guess this year was the year of the quilt!

A not so fun support group meeting

Tonight was our monthly support group meeting.   I was actually looking forward to it, and hoping that it would be a good meeting.  I have found some really wonderful friends there.  There were a lot of new people there tonight and I've never seen it so full.   Which of course is not a good thing.  It always makes me sad to think that someone else has to loose a baby too. However it was NOT a good meeting tonight.  I'm totally baffled how someone can sit in a room full of people who have ALL lost a child in one way or another and say that no one knows what they are going through and that what they went through is far worse than what everyone else has gone through... Yea for me personally a miscarriage would be far easier than what we did go through for Colette, but I would never say to anyone that had a miscarriage that what I went through was far worse than what they went through.  I would never dream of it!  Yet I had to sit through ...

Another Ultrasound update

Today I went to the Hospital and had another Ultra sound with Maternal Fetal Medicine.  Other than both of the babies being in kind of a funky position  everything looks great.  And the babies are not measuring small by any means!  Baby A is about 2lbs 8 oz and Baby B is about 2lbs 11oz.  But it was good to see their little hearts beating away and watch them snuggle together.  I have a little break from dr's appointments for a couple of weeks but it will be fun to see how much they have grown the next time we get to have a peek at them.
