Aaron's first day of First grade!

This is Aaron on his first day of First grade

This is Bridgett on Aaron's first day of school, (she has no idea that she is loosing her playmate for 6 hours a day from here on out!) I also think she thinks she's going to school WITH Aaron
This is Aaron's backpack that he picked out all by himself, he says that it's so cool with all the pockets!

Sadly I don't have a photo of Aaron AFTER his first day of first grade but if I did it would look something this. "Child sitting upon the floor wailing in utter despair"

Since Aaron is my first I didn't' really think about what a hard change it must be to go from kindergarten to first grade, so when he came home WITHOUT his lunch box the first day I was not the most patent mommy :( I'll have to post the saga of the lunch box on another post. I hear that if your not living it it's quite comical. or so I've been told.
Poor Aaron' comes home from school practically in melt down mode every day from being tired and hungry, I try to shove food into him and let him veg for a bit before I ask him to do anything. I think he likes school but I also thinks he misses the free time of summer, I'm hoping that we all get used to his schedule soon. I did ask him if he liked his teacher and he said yes, I asked him what she was like and he said "like and angel!" Score one for Miss Trimble! She probably has no idea she has reached Angle status.

    Awww what a sweet boy! He is so cute with his new backpack, and Bridgett is so adorable! I am sure he will get used to the long day eventually...I am still waiting for Max to get used to his schedule too, it can be tough.

A not so fun support group meeting

Tonight was our monthly support group meeting.   I was actually looking forward to it, and hoping that it would be a good meeting.  I have found some really wonderful friends there.  There were a lot of new people there tonight and I've never seen it so full.   Which of course is not a good thing.  It always makes me sad to think that someone else has to loose a baby too. However it was NOT a good meeting tonight.  I'm totally baffled how someone can sit in a room full of people who have ALL lost a child in one way or another and say that no one knows what they are going through and that what they went through is far worse than what everyone else has gone through... Yea for me personally a miscarriage would be far easier than what we did go through for Colette, but I would never say to anyone that had a miscarriage that what I went through was far worse than what they went through.  I would never dream of it!  Yet I had to sit through ...

Another Ultrasound update

Today I went to the Hospital and had another Ultra sound with Maternal Fetal Medicine.  Other than both of the babies being in kind of a funky position  everything looks great.  And the babies are not measuring small by any means!  Baby A is about 2lbs 8 oz and Baby B is about 2lbs 11oz.  But it was good to see their little hearts beating away and watch them snuggle together.  I have a little break from dr's appointments for a couple of weeks but it will be fun to see how much they have grown the next time we get to have a peek at them.
