Something else to add to my todo list.

This morning while the kids were eating breakfast I stood at the counter writing up my todo list for today,

Clean the kitchen
Clean the floors
Clean the upstairs bathrooms
bake the rolls
finish the double chocolate mousse cake
bake apple pie
bake pumpkin cheesecake pie...
work on my book

As I'm writing thinking about how much I have to do and Aaron announces "I know what we should do today"  of course I cringe  you have to understand its only 9am and he's already asked if we can go swimming,  or drive to California to be with the rest of the family and a few other impossible huge  tasks that I just can't do today even if I had time!
"what should we do today Aaron?"  I asked,  holding my breath that maybe this time it would actually be something I can squeeze in between baking things
"Well I think since it's all wintry ouside,  we should sit by the fire place,  and turn on the fire and play a fantastic game of UNO!"

"Aaron I think that sounds like a wonderful idea!"

"Good mom you can add it to your list"

This is one thing I don't mind adding to my list today and I can't wait to sit by the fireplace and play a "fantastic" game of UNO with my wonderful son.
