A Star Is Born!

Tonight at 7pm at the Elementary school,  Aaron was in his first play!

For months now he has been working his little heart out and he can recite the whole play from beginning to end,  and often has to be reminded that the dinner table is NOT the place to recite the whole play to us.  We had a little drama when he realized that he had to wear his church clothes to school... and I waited all do for that call from school telling me that he was in meltdown mode and I needed to come get him cuz no one could calm him down.  But thankfully it never came :)  He told me when I picked him up from school that he did great in the performance for the school.  So that made my dat.

Anyway Aaron was so excited about his 2 lines and his 10 min class play that he invited  Mommy Daddy Bridgett,  Grandma Cindy Grandpa Roy,  Grandma Teetah,  Grandpa Ken, and Great Grandma Smith.  And they all came to support him.

The plot of the play is that the King does not want to get out of the bath tub.  He does not want to make the rules,  he does not want to work,  the bath is fun so that is where he is going to stay.  Aaron was the Head Knight and the first to try to get the King out of the tub.  The Narrator asks.  Who knows what to do?  And Aaron says  I DO!   Get out of the tub, It's time to battle!  And the king says Today we battle in the tub.  And Aaron climbs into the tub with the King for a small sward fight.

In my opinion he made the best knight ever!

Several others try to get the king out and finally the court jester pulls the plug.  and the king is forced to finally leave the tub.

Congrats Aaron!  You did wonderful on your first play!  You made your whole family smile from ear to ear!  Keep up the good work buddy you are growing up so fast,  we love you and were so proud of you!
