New Beginnings.

Tonight was New Beginnings for the Young Woman.  What does that have to do with me?  Well normally nothings.  I don't have a calling in YW's  I don't have a daughter old enough to go.  And yet last night I was there.   A couple of days ago my neighbor Jill called and asked if I would be willing to come to their New Beginnings night and take photos of the girls.  Their theme was "don't drop the ball"  and all the girls were invited to come in their most formal dresses.  They wanted it to be an elegant evening.  So I told her that I would be happy to take photos for them.  I asked her if they needed some cupcakes for the even and she said some of "Julia's cupcakes" would be great if I have time!.  To be honest I think I was more excited about having an excuse to make some really elegant cupcakes than the photography.  How sad is that?  So all through the beginning of this week I worked on different parts of my cupcakes.  No I didn't bake them until the day before!  But I had other things to work on to get them ready.    Anyway here are some photos of the cupcakes and some of the photos of our beautiful Young Woman that I took tonight.

So what do you think?  I think they just might be some of my most fancy work yet!  I had lots of fun making them and hopefully everyone had lots of fun eating them!

My cupcakes were not the only desserts that were fancy tonight.  There were some pretty impressive desserts on those tables!  It was obvious that every one of those leaders had put lots of time and effort into this night.
Our Beautiful Young Woman Leaders  Shhhhh they would probably kill me if they knew I had this up on my blog, but I just had to share,  they are such amazing women and I love each and every one of them!
Keep up the good work girls!  You are all amazing in your own special ways :)
