A van bought and a car sold
So with the news of both the upcoming babies we knew we would need to find a van. This I was really really not looking forward to. When we were pregnant with Colette, I seemed like we were always looking for a van, the day before I went into labor with her what were we doing? Out looking for a new Van. We never did find one. In the end it was a blessing that we didn't end up buying on and having that loan payment ontop of all of her hospital bills. So you can see why I was not eager to start this whole process all over again. Of course this time I'm trying to be hopeful that we will not only find a van but end up needing it this time!
Ironically less than 2 days after we actively started looking for vans we found one! Not only found one, but also bought it and brought it home! Yes while it was still a lot of work to get it checked out and get all the bank paperwork done and such it actually (especially compared to our last run at finding a van) just fell into our lap. And now we are the proud owners of a White Toyota Senna. The kids are so excited, and I have to admit I feel a huge sigh of relief at having this part over and DONE! I'm hoping that it's a wonderful sign that this time we will be needing a bigger car and we will be bringing both of these babies home!
Once the Van was ours we knew we needed to sell one of our cars. It was kind of sad. We have had the same cars for 10 years now. but its' what needed to be done.
So we got Dusty's car all nice and shiny clean on the outside and started working on getting it all beautiful on the inside!
The kids helped like this....
Yes helpful aren't they??? :)
Look you can see our new white van fits nicely in the garage. ok well it has about 2 inches of give in either direction so you do have to park it exactly but hey it fits!
Mommy working really hard to get the inside spotless!
And here it is all done and pretty and ready to go up for sale!
I even bought some new floor mats for it, made a huge difference! And the good news? It didn't take long to sell! Good bye trusty Saturn! You've been a part of our family for a long time and we will miss you!
