Happy Halloween!

The kids are so excited for today to be Halloween,  Aaron was so excited to get up and put on all of his costume that he could wear to school today.  Bridgett was very upset that Aaron got to wear his costume so early and at one point tried to take it off for him.

I do have to admit that I dislike very strongly when halloween ends up being on a school night.  nothing like coming home getting the kids a snack,  doing homework,  trying to squeeze in dinner and then off to trick or treating before it time to go home and get to bed and hope that the kids act well the next day at school on less sleep and way more sugar than they normally live on :)    Oh well at least it only happens once a year right?

Aaron decided that he wanted to be spiderman,  I waned him before Oct that we dont' get to buy store bought costumes sometimes we have to work with what we have.  But then we found a 9$ spiderman costume and really I have to admit that I can't put together a costume for less than that so he did get to be spiderman.  Bridgett had lots of ideas of what she wanted to be but I gave her the option of a witch or a ghost.  it kept changing every day before halloween,  thankfully I already had everything I needed for both costumes so it was not a big deal,  The day before halloween she said she would be a ghostly witch!  lol  I admit that I ended up making the decision for her but she was quite happy.  So ghost it was!

Uncle Kyle joined us for some Trick or treating with his start wars chewbacca outfit,  Aaron love it!  Bridgett however would only go near him if he took off his mask,  Can't really say that I blame her :)
Bridgett was so excited to have her face painted white and her hair sprayed white too.
And this was my costume,  I'm not very much one to dress up but how many times at Halloween do I get to show off having TWO babies in my tummy?

Everyone had a great time,  Bridgett finished trick or treating before Aaron did as we knew she would so I took her back to Grandma Cindy's and put her in the tub and washed all her ghostly make up off,  I think she was glad to have it off too.  I drove her home and put her to bed,  it was already 8  way past her bed time.  Aaron and Daddy and Uncle Kyle kept trick or treating and it was closer to 9 before he got home and into bed!  It's fun to see the kids have so much fun on Halloween but I'm still glad it only comes around once a year!

I know it is so scary but the blessing out of all of this is they will watch you closer because of Colette and having twins. Hang in there and lots of hugs!!!!!
