Christmas Eve party

Every Christmas Eve we have a family party.  It's been a tradition since before I was born,  this year we invited all the grandparents over to our house for dinner.  A make your own hoggie sandwich  meal,  with all the handmade desserts.   Also the kids and Daddy read Luke 3 the story of Jesus's birth while the children laid out the nativity pieces as the scriptures were read.  We like to do a little spiritual with a little fun:)   After that we played christmas carols with the our hand made chimes.  It was lots of fun.  This year we had a special treat,  this year we wrapped up two onsies one for each Grandma to open.   The tag on pkg1  said Baby A is..... and the tag on pkg 2 said Baby B is....

And this was how we let the family know that we had two baby boys on the way.

After our own Christmas Eve Party we took the kids up to my Aunt and Uncles house and we joined in their party.  There were lots of games.  I'm not a fan of playing them, so I pleaded pregnancy and just watched,  But Bridgett and Aaron both got into the action and every one had a great time.
Here is Bridgett trying to balance a cookie on her head and get it into her mouth with no hands.    After the games we had a gift exchange white elephant style but with good gifts not stupid ones.  Since Dusty has a new job at skullcandy we decided to opt for giving away headphones and skull candy socks and a necklace.  It was great fun to watch every one try to get their hands on the skull candy stuff.   Everyone had a great time,  But the time we got home and got the kids into bed it was almost 10pm,  which would not be a huge ordeal except that tomorrow we also have Church at 9 am!
