18 Months for Colette

Today is Sunday,  and it's the 24th.  Today is exactly 18 months since Colette was born.  Today she should have been starting nursery.  A big step in all of our kids lives.  But instead of taking her to nursery my arms are missing her.  Thank goodness I have my other two children to keep me busy.  But they are getting older and bigger and needing Mommy less and less.  Which leaves mommy more and more time to do...  It helped to have family in town it was nice to be together... and in other ways it was hard too.  It's hard to look at my sister 6 beautiful children and know that that is one gift that I will never get to have in this life.   I guess I just didn't expect 18 months to hit so hard.

We went to Mom and Dad's ward for sacrament meeting.  Aaron did so well sitting with his cousins,  and Bridgett was kept happy with a little "painting" on Daddy's iPad.  After sacrament meeting we all went back to Mom and Dad's house for Dad to teach us a "primary lesson"  (since dad's surgery he just can't sit through the whole 3 hours of church yet.  Hard to do when you can't bend your knee!)

And that was pretty much my Sunday.  A bitter sweet day for sure.  Sweet to be with so much family and bitter to be missing our sweet Colette on this special day.
